I'm Glad you're here!
A Warm Welcome
Welcome to my practice, my name is Liz Reynolds and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice specializing in women’s emotional health and wellness. It takes courage to reach out and begin to find the right therapist for you and I appreciate you visiting my website.
ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF
I have had the privilege of working together with clients in a variety of clinical settings as a social worker for over 25 years. I believe we all have the internal resources for our healing and I work to cultivate a safe space with clients for them to harness these strengths for change.
I'm a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator-Candidate
Brené Brown’s research has fundamentally affected the way that I show up as mom, friend, activist, and partner. Her research has been a significant part of my practice supporting clients in their courageous process of vulnerability and building shame resilience. In the summer of 2019 I was so honored to attend the in-person training to become a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator-Candidate.
I have worked in a variety of clinical settings ever since I studied recreation therapy for students with disabilities over 25 years ago in college. I am a mother of two teenagers and our 1 year old puppy whom I am quickly realizing is our third teen of the house. My husband and I are in the thick of the vulnerability of parenting teens, experiencing how equally fulfilling and terrifying that can be.
After 15 years of working in a high school, I transitioned into private practice from School Social work with such gratitude for the foundation in supporting students and families to increase their school ‘success’, whatever that word meant for them. I opened my private practice in 2015 specializing in women’s health and dedicated to offer a holistic approach for a clients to establish safety, trust, and ultimate repair.
Perinatal Mental Health
Specializing in Perinatal Mental Health (the time all around birth), I am dedicated to the health and well being of parents during such a vulnerable time. Infertility, pregnancy loss, traumatic birth and postpartum are some of the areas of support my practice specializes in for clients to heal and continue to build resilience.
